Posting Tutorial!

Okay due to popular demand I thought I'd post a "How to" on how to upload and post images via various image hosts. For this exercise I'm going to use ImageVenue. In a nutshell, there are three parts to this process:

1. Browsing your computer for pix
2. Copying the appropriate text script
3. And finally editing your post properly


BROWSING:

Firstly, open a separate tab in your browser and go to http://www.imagevenue.com/ where there you'll find 5 empty slots.

With that, click on the "Browse" button and find the images that you want to upload from your computer.

Having made your selections, quickly select your image content from "safe" or "not safe for work" (depending on if its porn and nudity or legitimate pix) and then hit the "send file(s)" button.

COPYING SCRIPT:

This will start the upload process, and waiting a few moments you will eventually be taken to another page which looks like this.

Copying the appropriate text (in this case the Message Board and Forum script - the first box) into your post, will result in something like this.

EDITING YOUR POST:

Of course, we're not done yet as there is one final step we can take to ensure the post looks good and neat. And that is to space you pics apart. For this, simply look at the top right for a tiny a/A icon which is a pic preview button, and click it.

Waiting a moment, the text should transform into pics and with that you can then go ahead and adjust the spaces between the pictures with your space bar. FYI, if you happen to make a mistake and accidentally delete a pic, simply press "Ctrl+Z" and that should undo your mistake.

With that you can hit the "Preview Post" button to check your post or go right ahead and press the "Submit New Thread" button.

For this next exercise I'm going to use our very own IconAccess image host.

Firstly, open a separate tab in your browser and go to http://www.iconaccess.com/celebphotos/ where there you'll find 20 empty slots.

With that, click on the "Browse" button and find the images that you want to upload from your computer. But before proceeding, make sure that the individual files (pix) are no larger than 3MB each. Then after adding your selected pix (up to 20 at a time), scroll down and click "Upload"

This will start the upload process, and waiting a few extra moments you will eventually be taken to another page which looks like this.

Now, you have the option to either copy the script for each pic individually or the entire batch in one go which will result in something like this.
